DMCA Policy

How to report alleged copyright infringement or respond to a notice.

Respect for Copyright

ColorCraft Tools respects intellectual property rights and expects users and contributors to do the same.

Scope

This policy describes a practical notice-and-response process. Legal requirements vary by jurisdiction, and a site owner should obtain legal review before relying on any template.

Copyright Notice Requirements

A notice should identify the copyrighted work, identify the allegedly infringing material and its URL, provide contact information, include a good-faith statement, include an accuracy and authority statement, and contain a physical or electronic signature.

Where to Send a Notice

Submit the notice through the Contact page with “Copyright Notice” in the subject. Do not include unrelated sensitive information.

Review and Action

We may request clarification, remove or restrict material, preserve records, notify the affected party, or decline incomplete or unsupported notices.

Counter-Notice

A counter-notice should identify the removed material, explain the basis for restoration, provide contact information, include required jurisdiction and service statements where applicable, and contain a signature.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly false notices or counter-notices may create legal liability. Consider professional advice before submitting a disputed claim.

Repeat Infringement

Where applicable, accounts or contributors associated with repeated valid infringement may be restricted or terminated.

Non-Copyright Complaints

Trademark, privacy, defamation, and other complaints should be clearly identified and supported through the Contact page.

Policy Changes

We may update this process to reflect law, hosting requirements, and operational practices.
